In the heart of the Bastide d’Alan, a former residence for the bishops of Comminges, where at the end of the 1400's bishop Jean de Foix de Grailly transformed it into a palace decorated with frescos. The octagonal tower contains a spiral staircase which is a masterpiece of Flamboyant Gothic art.

At the end of the 15th Century the bishop Jean de Foix de Grailly transformed his residence into a palace decorated with frescos. The octagonal tower contains a spiral staircase which is a masterpiece of Flamboyant Gothic art with its sculpted cow adorning the tympanum.
