Listed as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the ‘brandon’ is a traditional, popular festival that takes place every year.
Picnic in the barns, followed by the lighting of the ‘brandon’.
The term ‘Brandon’ specifically refers to the large logs that are prepared on site to light the Midsummer’s Day bonfires and which are set alight during these summer solstice fire festivals.
