On the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela (GR78), this former coaching inn at the foot of the Pyrenees is the ideal place for a family get-together or for pilgrims, 14km from one of France's favourite villages, Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges.

In the heart of the Pyrenean village of Saint-Pé-d'Ardet, you'll enjoy stopping off or staying longer in this magnificent stone building with its south-facing gallery, where the owners have taken great care to preserve and restore all the old features. Here, whether you're an individual or a group, you'll enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside and be able to indulge in all the leisure activities and outdoor sports that the mountains have to offer.

A courtyard extended by a terrace will allow you to make the most of the fine weather. Large common room of 80m2 opposite the gîte (kitchen, lounge and fireplace). Restaurant 50 metres away and lake 500 metres away.

Activities and visits nearby: the Garonne cycle path (6km away, also ideal for fishing), the Pyrénées-Hô tree-climbing park (8km away), the French favourite village of Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges (14km away), Montréjeau (18km away, with lake, market and train station), the ratfing base at Antignac (21km away), and the ski resorts of Luchon and Le Mourtis (24km away).

– First floor: 3 bedrooms, one with 4 single beds (90x190cm) (2 of which can be twinned), and 2 accessible from the gallery, each with 2 single beds (90x190cm) that can be twinned.

– On the second floor under the rafters: 1 bedroom (1 double bed 140x190cm) and 1 small dormitory (1 double bed 140x190cm and 3 single beds 90x190cm). Each sleeping unit (bedroom or dormitory) has its own private shower room/WC, except on the second floor where the WC is shared.
