The gite de la Houlette is an old barn with windows facing south, with a breathtaking view. You are in a peaceful setting, in the heart of nature.

It can accommodate up to 5 people in 2 bedrooms and a mezzanine.

The bay windows face the Pyrenees, dominating the meadows in the foreground of the Comminges hills.

The barn has retained its original dimensions to accommodate the lounge, kitchen and dining area in a delightfully light-filled space.

From the lounge and dining area, with the windows open or closed, you'll feel as if you're outside, admiring the mountains and the countryside. The well-equipped kitchen (induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Senseo, etc.) is just the right size for preparing meals in style.

From a magnificent bedroom with two 90*200 beds that can be combined on request into a single kingsize bed (180*200), you'll wake up to the charm of the Comminges hills, with the Pyrenees and the Pic du Midi in the background. The wow effect is guaranteed! The bay windows open wide, and if you're worried about getting too hot, you can take advantage of the air conditioning.

The mezzanine bedroom has two beds that can be combined into a king-size bed (180*200) for extra cosiness under the roof structure, as if you were sleeping in a barn in the middle of the meadows. The staircase leading to the mezzanine bedroom can be a hazard for young children.

A small bedroom with a door opening directly onto the terrace is designed for one person, but can also be used as a study away from the main room.

In the shower room, which is lit by a window, the shower cubicle is spacious and very pleasant. The WC is separate from the shower room.

A balcony runs along the length of the house to a large terrace facing south and east. From here, you can bubble away, eat and gather around a barbecue as you enjoy the long summer evenings. As the sun rises, you can enjoy breakfast overlooking the Ariège Pyrenees.

Sheets and mattress covers are provided free of charge. Covers for individual duvets are available for hire, as are towels. Cleaning of the accommodation can be taken care of by us if you opt for the cleaning service.

Another nearby gite, Le Bercail, which sleeps up to 9 people in 4 bedrooms, can be rented jointly.

In the heart of the Comminges hills, 1 hour from Toulouse, Spain, St Bertrand de Comminges, ski resorts, 1h20 from Lourdes.
