About
The church of Bachos is from the 12th century but is built with irregular rubble stone, in the 11th century style in the Comminges. The chevet is flat and mostly blind, unlike most of the Romanesque churches in the area. In the façade is embedded a Gallo-Roman jellyfish head.
Discover the church of Saint-Geniès, the jewel in the village's crown, built between the 12th and 19th centuries.
Built of schist, granite and marble, it is a fascinating blend of styles and periods.
Stroll through its history-filled interior and admire its unique architectural details.
A must-see for heritage enthusiasts and curious visitors alike, in the heart of the authentic charm of the Pyrenees.
