About
This cross symbolises both a place of remembrance and a traditional crossing point for shepherds.
Located on the Tirouns ridge line (small rounded peaks), this cross marked the boundary of the temporal domain of the ancient community of Medan, later Bordes (barns) and Juzet de Luchon. Situated on a plateau overlooking the Luchon valley, this ancient landmark offers a remarkable view of the Luchon plain, with the border peaks in the background.
