Steps

Step 1
From Luchon, take the D 125c towards Moustajon and Antignac. –
Step 2
At the roundabout, take the D 125 towards Cierp-Gaud.
Step 3
At the roundabout, continue straight ahead (D 125) then take the first right towards Fronsac (D 618). You will begin the climb up the Col des Ares, passing through the villages of Frontignan-de-Comminges and Antichan-de-Frontignes.
Step 4
Descend the pass to Juzet d'Izaut, then continue towards Sengouagnet. –
Step 5
Before the village, turn right to reach Ger-de-Boutx and the Col du Menté (D 85).
Step 6
At the pass, descend, leaving the Mourtis resort on your left, and head towards Saint-Béat-Lez. –
Step 7
Turn left towards Spain (N 12) until you reach the Bossost exit (N230). Turn right towards France and begin the climb up the Portillon pass. The descent will take you back to Luchon.
