This 5-person gîte opens its doors to you in an exceptional bucolic setting. Nestling on a hillside in the typical village of Montgaillard-sur-Save, the house combines old-world charm with modern comforts. You'll find two very large bedrooms with comfortable bedding, ideal for families or colleagues, a vast, light-filled living room with exposed beams for lovers of authenticity, and a fully enclosed garden, perfect for children or moments of conviviality in the fresh air.

Enjoy breathtaking views of the Pyrenean peaks every morning, while being just a stone's throw from the legendary GR86 hiking trail, popular with walkers and nature lovers. An ideal base from which to explore the wonders of the south-west.

There are several routes to choose from, depending on what you fancy: hiking (the GR86 passes in front of the gîte), cultural discovery (the ruins and Museum of Montmaurin 12km away, the Aurignacian Forum Museum 15km away, Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, one of the most beautiful villages in France, 40km away), swimming at the Save Gorges 8km away or at Lake Gimone 18km away (in the Gers department), etc.

On your return, relax by the private above-ground swimming pool (6.20m diameter, 1m deep). Enclosed courtyard and garden. The gîte is adjoining the owners' house.

Access via two steps: entrance into the living room (wood-burning stove), kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 double bed 140cm for 2 people) (3 single beds 90cm for 1 person), corridor leading to a shower room and separate WC. No heating in the gîte (closed from October to May).
