About
Youth Centre offering creative arts workshops, needlework, and an introduction to traditional crafts (working with wool; from livestock farming and cultivation (flax, hemp, etc.) to the finished product, including natural dyeing, etc.)
Inclusion of young people through the use of colours and the recycling of materials such as fabrics, wood, cardboard and plastic…
Mutual support, sharing and exchange.
We welcome children and teenagers aged 3 to 17 on Wednesdays and/or Saturdays from 2 pm to 5 pm during term time and the school holidays.
We also have a community space for adults and senior citizens on Fridays, which allows us to run intergenerational workshops during the holidays. Some of these members occasionally get involved in the Wednesday and Saturday workshops.
The association aims to be a ‘conveyor of knowledge’
