A family day organised by a group of local individuals and organisations: Rêve ta terre, Cie Beblibop, Les Agités du Comminges, and the Ganties Community Garden
Saturday 4 July:
10am Leisurely walk from Ganties (meet at the football pitch)
12 noon Potluck lunch and barbecue: everyone brings something
2pm Draw your garden for young and old // quiet time in the children’s corner
3pm Games with a flip-flop throwing contest & roller-skating biathlon (bring your roller skates and water pistol)
5pm Afternoon tea with Monsieur Carnaval
5.30pm “Breathe” walk through the mysterious countryside & little sensory discovery games
6.30pm Circus show
7.30pm “Bonne Popote” meal (pay what you like) by the fire // Piano session: come and sing your song!
8.30pm Open-mic night hosted by the Sacs à Balais collective / musical jam session
Night: Stargazing, camping possible: bring your gear! (tents, sleeping bags, etc.)
Sunday 5 July:
9.00 am Communal breakfast
11.00 am Discussion / Presentation of the site and projects
11.30 am Potato walk and discovery of the site’s plants
12.00 pm Hot potato and salad meal // shared barbecue
2.00 pm Quiet time in the children’s corner // Draw your garden // Games: wheelbarrow race and sack race // Building huts
4pm Open-mic ‘potato-art’ session
5pm Shared snack and children’s party
6pm Let’s raise a glass to life together, and tidy up!
