With the presence of the historical re-enactment association "Un poil d'histoire" from Montréjeau.

At Montréjeau, on 3 fructidor An VII (19 and 20 August 1799), royalist insurgents clashed with republican troops. The clash was fierce and ended in a complete defeat for the royalist ranks. The fugitives, pursued by General Bartier (born in Aspet and buried in Huos) among others, fled towards Spain via Luchon and Saint Béat.

Jean-Jacques Dumur and the members of the "Un poil d'Histoire" association invite you to relive a battle that marked the end of the royalist insurrection in the south-west.
