About
The new church was rebuilt on the site of the old church in 1856.
When the old church was demolished, numerous votive altars, fragments of sculptures and statues, marble slabs, capitals of various shapes and sizes, columns and a large number of inscriptions dedicated to the god Leheren were discovered.
