In Luchon, the market is held around the market hall dating from 1896, decorated with ceramics and colourful friezes. Open all year round, it houses shops and a small bar. The popular open-air market sells Saccourvielle cheeses, Pyrenean lamb, charcuterie and vegetables. You can also watch a spit-roasted cake being made, a not-to-be-missed local speciality.
