About

"From the Four Corners of the World, Mnêsia, Montmaurin Suitcase", an evolving artistic project by Sofi Hémon, in collaboration with the Montmaurin Archaeological Museum and its visitors.

Sofi Hémon, who took part in the archaeological excavations at the Coupe-Gorge cave in Montmaurin as part of paleoanthropologist Amélie Vialet’s team, draws inspiration from archaeology for her artistic practice.

The objects, samples and documentation presented by the artist, from summer 2026 to autumn 2027, will offer, in resonance with the collections, alternative ways of connecting us to the world.

In partnership with the Occitanie region (Gorgyous project – key challenge: Sciences of the Past), the DRAC Occitanie, the Haute-Garonne department and UMR 7194 Natural History of Prehistoric Humanities – CNRS

The Charter of Commitment was developed by and for professionals in partnership with the Comminges-Pyrénées Tourism Office. It highlights producers from all fields and chefs who work according to best practices, promote Comminges products, and share their respective expertise.

The guide “Goûts et Saveurs en Comminges” is not just a directory of businesses. It is much more than that. As you turn the pages, you’ll also find recipes, profiles, and interviews.
