About
An invitation to a public performance of Mustapha Kharmoudi's new creation by the Kaktus company, based on the theme of exile, followed by the opening of an exhibition of the various works created with pupils from the E P Vayssié secondary school, the J Prévert school, Prahda and the IME.
A little girl and her mother flee the war and cross the border into France illegally. We follow them on their journey, at the mercy of a daily life of disillusionment and suffering. The story is told through the voice of the little girl, who describes in simple, clumsy words and without metaphor the harshness of the world she faces with her distraught mother.
Alongside the creation of their show, the Kaktus company is offering to share Mustapha Kharmoudi's text through a reading set to music. A moment of intimacy and poetry around words that speak of exile and uprooting. A time to share a sensitive, universal theme that calls on the memory of our own journeys.
