Discover life on the farm and the world of farming in Belbèze-en-Comminges, during a guided tour led by Samuel lasting around 1 hour, meeting the goats and discovering the goat farm, video exchanges.
Come and discover life on the farm and the world of farming just a stone's throw from Salies-du-Salat, in Belbèze-en-Comminges. During a guided tour lasting around an hour, immerse yourself in the day-to-day running of the farm and talk to the farmers about their trade and their know-how. Depending on the season, you can watch one of the highlights of the farm's life: the births of the animals, the shearing of the ewes, the care of the flock and many other special moments.
The visit is divided into 3 parts:
– Meet the goats and discover the Belbèze-en-Comminges goat farm. You can get up close to the animals and stroke them as much as you like! We'll talk to you and explain our way of life on the farm, the particularities of this type of farming and the various stages in the processing of mohair wool.
– Showing of a video. A short documentary showing the different stages in the processing of mohair by craftsmen.
– Discovery of the shop. Pelotes, gloves, socks, plaids, scarves, jumpers, etc. You'll be able to see all our finished products!
