Doisneau followed in 1956. What sets him apart is that, on the one hand, he did not give in to the call of the capital, continuing to defend his region and his city of Toulouse, where he created the Ch\u00e2teau d&#8217;Eau gallery, and on the other hand, he tackled all areas of photography: reportage, illustration, portraiture, industry, Romanesque architecture, aerial views, landscape and still life.    <br\/>He constantly sought to push to the extreme the limits of an art form that was all too often conventional. It retains some of its industrial aspect, and is a marvellous, sober and pure showcase for the photographic works on display. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is dedicated to photography, and not just to Jean Dieuzaide. It will regularly host works by talented photographers from France and abroad.
